Logging in issue on xbox

I was trying to figure out how to get a loot filter on my poe2 character but every time I tried it would put the filter on the poe1 character with no option to select poe2 characters.
I tried linking my email to the account thinking maybe the xbox account for poe1 vs poe2 would be different but it just ended up adding another account. And now, when I try logging into my account on my xbox it logs into the" new account" wanting me to make a new character and I cant access my characters on my original account at all.

1.Can anyone help with correcting the log in issue.

2. Can anyone help with how to add a loot filter on xbox.
