Ritual and what needs to change

So I've been farming rituals a lot lately.

And it's kinda fun.

But there are some unfun aspects to it too.

One of the most unfun things about rituals for me is, when you have like 50 deferred items at once, you have to individually defer each and every one of them multiple times, like around 10-20 times.

Why can't there be a 'defer all deferred items' button? Or something like that, in order to make deferring items much smoother?

It is such a terrible time to click the defer button, click the item, click the confirm button, click the defer button again, click the next item, click the confirm button...

dude, this is a process for a robot, not for a human

And then those circles where the rituals are placed in, sometimes they are very small, other times they are large, depending which map and which area they spawn at

man..just place a ritual portal and have a seperate instance for ritual, not inside the map

and create something smart, something that most people would like

having up to 4 of those ritual circles in all kinds of shapes and sizes all around the map is just not super fun to be honest

don't be stubborn and re-evaluate the design/concept of the ritual mechanic

Tho shalt feel the weight of each click, Exile.
Its there for a reason, what Jonathan refers to as "friction".
bump

and also, change this thing that only lets* the player use the ritual points on deferring, rerolling or buying items, that was the first one to interact with a ritual in a map

if that somebody dies or leaves the map, nobody else has access to it

that's honestly not right, I understand that in group play, maybe the host want to do it himself (although I don't see a point of doing rituals and group play anyways)

but permission to other players should be granted once the player dies or has left the map

No issue with the mass deferral idea (though I've never even deferred more than one item, should I be doing that heh?), but please no portal or separate instance anything that requires me to load to another zone.

I kind of like the janky obstructed circles with terrain in the way too, gives it a bit of a different flavor each time. If anything they could add more random wild shapes to the ritual boundaries to spice it up even further, star, ellipse, rhombus, whatever.

I really don't like loading times either, especially in this game, at times it has the worst loading times ever

When I say portal I think of it more as a portal that immediately ports you to the seperate zone, such as the portal you take to teleport back to act 2 beside caravan, after killing the horse boss

But I see that GGG likes to make things more complicated or unenjoyable, rather than trying to simplify mechanics and such, and rather than quantify QoL features also

It's their game, they can do whatever they want but, as the game will get more content and things gonna keep coming with their philosophy and mentality, like the way it is handled many times up until now, players like me - even though loving the game, will naturally drift away from the game
