Reliquarian Build ideas?

Was expecting to see a lot of people brainstorming builds now that the ascendancy is known but I see no discussion here...

Forums arn't very active, would like more discussions but ye... Going to have a look and post my thoughts after.

E: Bit different to what was theorized, looks like we have some strong nodes and some interesting build options. The standard meta builds at the moment look to be quite strong, i am still looking at a smite setup for league start. The final lab looks competitive, maybe an early free purity which sounds amazing.

E2: victaro > kitava > purity for smite. This was my starter idea prior. Add in a elementalist FF later on.

It's very underwhelming to be honest and much weaker than regular Ascendant. Nothing as powerful as Phrecia iteration.

the items are kinda weak, or at least the armor section. attack nodes are fine, spells are meh and jewels are meh too.

I guess crit dominating blow would be fun?(victario+maata+tear or if a lot of ES burden I guess)

or fusillade + auras + wisps (victario+grace+tears or astra if int stacking)

If you want to Nova around you will also need to build a max block character, because any other spellnode is shit :D (or take an attacknode that does something)

So I can see a powerful Exsanguinate Scion using The Brass Dome, Thirst For Blood, and then The Astramentis.

Using a Low Life build and stacking Armor and Life Regen, you can make a really good starter Scion with little investment. And one of the biggest advantages of Exsanguinate is that it's a Touch spell from a distance, it penetrates proximity shields and can chain like Arc with it's alternate Gem.

I don't really Path of Building much, so I don't know the numbers. But I can see it being a powerful build.

Astramentis and brassdome don't synergize at all. brassdome disables much needed life for LL Exsanguinate scion, ravenous would be a better choice, or even maw of conquest as it synergizes well with petrified blood. Still even here i would use victario, its just that good (esp. with using pride)

and if i would use my own dw build I'm able to get max block with makes sybils quite strong with 120% inc. spellpower.

Jack is hard to build around. You need a source of bleed (exsang debuff is not! bleed)
And as jewel there is only astra for a little Qol and spellpower/life or purity for easy aura.

What super tanky hardcore builds can I make with this ascendancy?

To be honest I mostly do hardcore Witch builds so I'm not that familiar with builds outside of those.

See? this is why I play other people's builds! I'd just bork my own!

Well if all stays what it currently is, i will probably do a crit based holy strike setup.

with victario + maata + tears and jugg or necro FF/FF. Jugg at "start" for ease of hit capping. Spritiual aid and high minion damage nodes etc. Currently questionable how easy it will be to get the mainhand for this however. maybe start with nocrit first and use kitavas feast in the meanwhile. (depending if the splash also works with those minions)

Holy strike looks insane currently xD

I haven't cooked myself but someone mentioned pyroclast mines. +2 skills from Victarios, +2 proj from Mystic Refractor, Astral Projector. Sounds pretty cool
