Bosses should drop guaranteed next tier waystone.

Theres no reason for this to not happen, right? Except locking us to a lower tier to increase playtime statistics? Its not as fun to play tiered content over when you've already beaten it. Especially if its weighed more towards not providing the next tier, I'm 3 runs and same tier drops. Additionally sometimes you'll get multiple waystones. Ok, but I don't need that stone. If I received 3, then ok I can combine and we're there in a weird way. This system is already repetitive, extremely- so we don't need more repetition, right? Some of the coolest things are when you kill a boss on a corrupted nexus and another boss comes out. We need more of that, unique stuff. Like if you get 3 spawned corruptions in a row a boss decides to show up, or if there are multiple corrupted rares they combine into a boss. You know, creative, cool stuff. or also, using an irradiated tablet could increase the level of the boss as well as cause a higher tier waystone. Or if a boss on any map had a higher level from the Atlas it would drop a higher tier waystone.
That would be nice, right now its not bad though, If you kill a powerful map boss, it typically does just that. I just go on a powerful map boss killing spree to gather a few higher tier waystones. Also like you said, if the Bosses that can randomly spawn from the 3 pillars, if those guaranteed a waystone, that would be nice. on a normal map, if you max out your waystone drop chance, then throw on some Tablets with waystone mods, With waystone drop chance on your Atlas, you can get lucky and get 3 waystones. You can also combine 3 Waystones for a higher tier one on the reforging bench. Sometimes in the VAAL Temple on League, the mobs can drop a much higher tier waystone as well. The bosses like the Abominable Ice Monkey, or the Abominable Stone Headcrusher. Those bosses that have extremely high stakes 1 shot mechanics. They should always drop 3 higher tier Waystones on a juiced map with more than 100% total waystone drop chance. Those bosses should be considered powerful map bosses in every case. Yeah, I mean any of that is fine. I was just thinking the basics. I'm in tier 3, I've beaten it three times easily, wheres my tier 4. It should simply be, you beat it, you move up. Additionally, like TwitchGLHFsport pointed out, there are a ton of other additional ways to make this work. I didn't even know that more powerful bossed dropped better stones. Most of the playerbase will just expect things to make sense. Not have to mod 11 things to get what they need to progress. I mean, besides all of this stuff- progressing through the 'end game' isn't really guided much. Personally, if they were going to half ass it, I wish they wouldn't have done it. It just creates useless feedback/complaints and whatnot. |

" Yeah there are so many things that are not apparent or obvious. Some things even go against logical reasoning too. The only way to find out is by asking people. To be fair the game is still early access and at least isn't full of bugs. You have a good point about beating it 3 times, where's your higher tier waystone. That would be a simple logical solution. Some things in this game are overly complicated. But I notice in endgame the mobs durability doesn't increase dramatically between tiers, so you might be able to make progress really fast that way. What really changes though is the mobs become deadlier and have more 1 shot potential. If It's your first time playing Endgame and it's SSF, make sure you try to max your elemental resistances to 75% because it might become a problem getting 1 shotted later on. SSF is pretty tough.
