Couldn't access ascenday points after completing trial

I completed a trial of chaos, defeating the final boss and getting the "Trial Completed" notice, but then something killed me a few seconds later. It locked me out of the trial and used up the "Ultimatum" item and I could not receive my ascendany points. I checked my passive skill tree just in case and they weren't there. Seems you have to click the ascendancy statue thing at the end of the trial or you don't get the points. It should probably be reworked to give you the points if you leave the zone before clicking the statue.
