Verdant Wayfinder pet stuck in swirling animation on Hideout Waypoint/Map Device (screenshot)

This is an odd bug I found. When placing my Verdant Wayfinder pet to roam around my Hideout, it got stuck on my Waypoint/Map Device and turned into a colorful, swirly animation stuck in a loop.
The Map Device I have in my Hideout (shown in the screenshot) is the Prison Waygate Map Device (version 3) acquired from The Last of the Druids Mystery Box. I'm not sure if the Map Device itself is tied to the bug, though, but it's worth mentioning just in case. P.S. I tried to recreate the bug but failed to do so. I guess it just happens at random when the pet is placed further from the Waypoint/Map Device and roaming around the Hideout for a while? Just because a game receives a great amount of praise vs. only a small amount of criticism does not mean to call it a day and make a foolish misplaced assumption that it is perfect.
