Diablo 4 is copying poe 2 mechanics

Diablo 4 is copying poe 2 mechanics:
-they get a skill tree for endgame mechanics (similiar to atlas points for league mechanics)
-Sanctification = corruption
-they get extensive skill customization (similiar to support skill gems)
-they got better AI and more intentional combat (haven't really tried that out yet, but that was the huge advertisement for their current season)
-they add more interesting ground effects like PoE 2 has with the warlock class

There is not one game that didn't or doesn't copy a mechanic from other games.
The only thing from what you mentioned that is actually in the game right now is sanctification and it is going away after the season ends.
Everything else is pure speculation and coping.

From what they've actually announced, they are copy pasting diablo 3 mechanics and itemization, not poe2.

GGG is doing the same thing by the way - they are copying most of the poe1 mechanics/itemization instead of developing an actual sequel.

If you expect innovation then stop looking at AAA developers, because history has taught us that as soon as any studio gets big enough to have corporate offices, they will be put on a leash and given financial targets to reach.
If you watch like the first 5 minutes of some Diablo 2 gameplay, you'll see summoning runes. It's okay if a game completely rips off PoE; these ARPGs have been blatantly ripping each other off for decades now.
I only play SSF and it is my duty as one to inform you of my status.
