temple still open but portal is closed

me an my buddy were in my temple.... he left first then i left to stash items when he came out the portal was closed but before i knew that i had left and the portal was closed but the console still thinks its open,, last night was the first time an now again it did this so he left and farmed crystals for his an i closed that temple an re opened a new one for just my self, by the time he got his 6 crystals he went back into the ruins an notice he had a temple still open...!!! well that temple was the old one we were intogether an yet im in my new instance without him and hes farming our old one,,, it would be okay but the problem is my new one was dropping medalions but i could only see them on the mini map and not in-person... an trust me i had z enabled becauses i could see all my drops on the ground just not my medalions. turned my loot filter on n off still medallions there but can grab them.... need help other wise im losing a few hours of progression i have 2 full snakes built an im going to lose 1
