[Feedback] Who is this game for??

The game is designed to make you feel weak, infinitely. To convince you to chase defenses that never actually defend you from BS one shot/bleed mechanics. I would NOT recommend this game to anyone, let alone fans of Diablo.
It's goal seems to be to keep you chasing defenses and never actually feel strong. After like 1700 hours I have finally learned my lesson and I am getting off the hamster wheel. GGG (and you guys) can have this. Hard pass for me. I leveled FOUR characters to 97 this league because ppl keep telling me "oh no, you need this" or "oh no you cant stack THAT" and of course "SkIlL iSsUE" kids are abundant. The game is designed to keep you chasing the carrot that is "unkillable" and you never actually get there. What you DO get is a never-ending cycle of "BS mechanics that bleed thru your "mirror tier" defenses faster than you can even react... and I'm not talking about boss mechanics... I am talking about OVERCAPPED resistances to 90+ with 70% Evasion, 50% Deflection AND a 10k Sorcery Ward shield and "guess what, you're dead, back to hideout for you. Try again!!" I am over it completely and I do not think I will be coming back next season. At this point the devs are taking advantage of my trust, honestly. Sorcery Ward is pretty bad.
Long recharge, any hits will reset the timer. No recovery options. It's just a worse version of ES that requires you to Invest ALOT and barely pays off. |

" To see builds that are close to unkillable, look at the level 100 characters in HC trade. You do need a fair amount of game knowledge to understand those builds. For example, let's say your character has "10% of damage from mana before life". If you are low on mana and can only take 9% of the damage as mana, does your mana take that 9%, or does your life take all 100%? I left it too becouse GL Ascendancy really sucks. I try my luck in Enshrouded...

Sad but true all you need is damage, there is too much stuff going on to rely on defences only and you cannot tank damage or play any strategy other than blow them up before they move.
Going around with 8k EHP on a lvl 98 xbow pathfinder with 8 uniques and i have some fun to be honest. If you go all damage this game's for everyone. Last edited by IILU81II#8410 on Feb 11, 2026, 10:29:47 AM

Agree but that's how it is. Even top tier builds with good defenses can randomly get one shotted.

To me it looks like GGG themselves dont know who this game is for
They say they want the game to be slower, but the game rewards fast pacing and clear speed They say they want meaninful encounters and interactive combat but the best way to fight is to avoid any interactions at all (so you dont get oneshot) They want combo playstyle but the majority of skills interactions are to weak or require too much setup to use just once (and there is parry as well) It just looks like a lot of things in this game contradicts itself |
