Being forced too boss every map is a massive turn off

Im sorry but to me the bosses are bland and dogshit to fight unless you just delete them so you dont see their abilies and for that I dont enjoy fighting them, Their such unfun content and frank im shocked you guys havent found something better too replace them
Like for the love of god you have tablets for them why not just make it so we can have some sort of freedom on what we want content wise also whats with the massive downsides on maps after 3 mods its frankly pointless in upgrading them as 80% of the tme a map bricker Last bumped on Feb 10, 2026, 3:20:58 PM

There's really only a few bosses that get "delete character" abilities that feel risky enough to the point where I avoid doing dangerous mods on their maps.
I agree that the boss tablet should be a bit more exciting - I think along with empowering a boss, it should replace the map boss with a random map boss. That way if you always avoid Rupture maps because you have Zekoa PTSD you can just put in the boss tab and you'll get a different boss. I mean... it could still roll Zekoa... lol And it might make him appear in other maps too if you get a little too cavalier with the tablet. It also would just add variety to mapping for those with no boss fears whatsoever. To solve the "boss arena" problem, for bosses that require specific arenas (Tor Gul, or Siren, or Prisoner), they could just replace the boss with a portal to the respective arena. I dunno if I agree with your assessment that bosses in general are bland, but I do agree with the idea of doing more with the boss-related tablets. |

Correct me if i`m wrong but current solution is an answer to community complaints from 0.1 where You had to kill all rares. While rares as mini objective were not a problem, mandatory backtracking each map was.
Personally i`m okay with boss/each map as objective and nothing comes to my mind what could be better. Maybe 0.5 endgame overhaul will enlighten me. |

I try to kill as many bosses as i can after I lvl up so I don't have to worry about dying and losing XP.
Otherwise I just ignore the bosses and farm XP to lvl up. There could be a map quest item that you have to place on an altar or something to progress, one that drops if you leave the map. The boss isn't needed. its hard to imagine they could have a unique boss on every map. personally my favorite modifiers on waystones is % health increases for mobs, added energy shields for mobs and more magical mobs. I feel like there is a sweet spot in mob durability for gameplay. my least favorite modifier is % elemental resistances, and armor, i feel like that should be dependent on what type of mob it is, I just want them to have more HP so its not too easy. |

Another thing, i wish we could use tablets repeatedly on a map even if we dont complete it.
my favorite is the Abyss mobs. It would be nice if they made the abyss mobs +1 level to the level of the normal mobs on the map, and being able to use multiple abyss tablets to add more abyss points on the map and increase their lvl for all abyss spawns by another +1 so i could fight tons of +3 abyssal packs and have a high chance of going into the abyss. idk if that's how it already works bc i'm new to endgame. My favorite mechanic is fighting repeated consecutive packs like the abyss nodes and unique pack events that occasionally pop up Hopefully there is a tablet for a variety of pack fights that are multiple pack fights one after another. Spirits are not my favorite but they should also be on tablets and drop essence every time. |
