Stuck in the Grand Phylactery (alchemy lab T3) because my minions open the "soul core cache"

I've been stuck in the Vaal Temple Grand Phylactery (alchemy lab T3) many times because my minions accidentally open the "soul core cache" when I use the "direct minions" command near it. Once the "soul core infuser" is activated and I defeat the boss and all enemies, the room still won't complete. The game seems to require that I open the soul core cache personally and doesn't recognize that the minions have already opened it.
