The chopper golem does NOT activate

I'm talking about the "Cyclonic Construct", it just freezes there and won't take damage, neither does any attack, and the room can't be completed.

The only solution (thank god the entire temple isn't ruined yet) I have to portal out and back in, it's so annoying since there is no nearby checkpoint and I have to run to that room, EVERY TIME. And I swear this happens for EVERY last ten temple runs, very frustrating.
