Single target damage

There is an abundance of AOE damage spells,
I think the game lacks single target damage spells, which would really help when fighting bosses and rare mobs. Currently I am playing as a pure glass cannon lightning sorceress. Even being a glass cannon, and over leveled for the final interlude boss, using a decent voltaic staff, the final boss in the interlude was an abomination that almost gave me arthritis. Even these non massive characters were so tanky I almost needed a doctors appointment after kiting them for so long dodging the same spells repeatedly, hitting them so many times. I do not like dodging the same skill 10-20 maybe 50 times and needing to hit the boss 150 times to defeat them. the game needs more single target damage. one suggestion i have is using wands specifically for single target damage. all of their modifiers can suck, as long as their spell is a heavy hitter or hits fast like chaos bolt. consider even making modifiers for wands that only apply to the wand. like % wand spell damage, % wand cast speed, % wand crit chance, etc. we need 2 classes of wands, one for damage one for witch necromancers that have different modifiers. it would be cool to have a wand for every element that maxed single target damage. I can switch to my secondary wand and gun them down like harry potter. some bosses are okay, some are really a pain and the length of the fight is too long. some the crowd control and animations are too much. the difficulty of the bosses could be increased in other ways like tenacity, immunity to electrocution, etc. Most of the bosses are perfectly fine though. NO I think all fights should be more engaging, not cheesing.
You already can have POE1 mapping. Bossing, some builds already can cheese, we don't need more of this, we need less. We need more of the "methodological" vision. " Most bosses are okay, I agree and they should completely remove the barrier invocation exploit if they haven't done it already. but the contrast between the interlude final boss and the bosses in endgame are massive, I feel over leveled starting endgame and its much easier than the act 4 final boss. I'm sure this will all change in the future and it's just a placeholder, but man even raiding the interlude final bosses to help people alongside another person in endgame, they are way too tanky. " The game really needs to be slower, less punishing and more rewarding. I have no problem spending 30mins in 1 map if it's worth it, and don't get 1shot by clusterfk bs. Heck, my longest boss fight (in POE1) is about 50min, it was normal shaper. It was fun. Not rewarding, but fun. That is of course only possible if I'm not dying.
