Min maxing hurts build diversity

It promotes using only one skill type or one damage type which restricts what kind of skills you can use and thus creates more build restrictions then opening up build making. On top of that skills have so many stupid restrictions on them which hurt build diversity even more.
Rapid shot is a good example of this. In .1 and .2 you could use it with any skill. Then in .3 you add a 10 second just die to the skill unless you use grenades. Can't even use the skill properly without spacing grenades. Yet every other crossbow skill can be "rapid" fired by endgame. On top of that the stats we use to buff skills may buff one while hurting another. Makes it so if your build needs those stats you just dont use the akills that are reduced by them which restricts build diversity even further.
