Overpunishment!!!
|
I am debating with myself if I will ever continue to ever play this game.
I spent 1 month building that freaking temple. Maybe more, I don't know. I'm not the most efficient of a player, but still was trying. Now... I made one, just one simple mistake in my building the temple. One missclick!!! Due to that, my temple is now ruined. From about 50 rooms in a good configuration/template, however you want to call it, now I'm left with only 4 salvageable rooms. Now... I did love this game, for real. Was spending all my free time on it, but... My motivation is negative. The temple was something I was excited about, but now... I don't have the energy to restart my temple, and with that... playing the game at all. This is overpunishment for simple mistake. Great job GGG Last bumped on Feb 9, 2026, 10:31:50 AM

It’s not a bad suggestion too have an undo ability.
Like, start arranging the rooms but don’t lock in your choices until you confirm. This would allow for people to learn more in the beginning, and also allow people to undo a mistake. Sorry you lost your temple, but you’ll get over it. |

I agree
I will get over it, even though it sucks. Deffinitely will not play this season anymore. Not sure if I will play the game ever. |

Yeah, that's peak PoE 2 energy - punish you so hard you either quit your job or quit the game.
And then people act surprised when "casuals" bounce. The game isn't exactly built for someone who can log in for an hour a day without treating every click like a bomb-defusal minigame. What's sad is it wouldn't even be hard to separate it. Give the hard-asses a league or mode where misclicks delete your entire life savings and your childhood memories. Let the rest of us have basic guardrails like an undo or a confirmation step. Instead it's one ruleset for everyone, and it mostly rewards having infinite time and zero fat-finger potential. |

I agree that room placement needs an undo or confirmation function, but the temple was never meant to be built in such a way that you could "ruin" it with one wrong click, so don't blame GGG that your high-risk/high-reward strategy backfired.

I think the temple will be changed next league with bigger nerfs as doing this long snake rooms setup was not and never intended by GGG.
It is all wrong and make it unfair for the game economy. On the other hand undo button can be good . Why making rooms placement permanent ? Unless the player open the temple the player should have the option to change rooms and remove . |

I do blame GGG for this, because if it isn't a bug/exploit, it's a feature, intended or not.
