Dextral Crystallisation consumed, but didnt work

Was crafting a mace, had full prefixes and 2 suffixes. Used Omen of Dextral Crystallisation with a Perfect Battle to remove a suffix and add +5 skills. However when I applied the Perfect essence it removed my %physical prefix and bricked the item...

you sure thats not from the essence you woulda used to add the 'gain X% of damage as extra physical'?

Yea im sure, prefixes were %phys, +phys, %extra phys before I tried to do the dextral crystallisation + perfect battle.
