Simple Ideas for Standard Legue - Inflation related

Hi, I'm BoboTheLich, minion enjoyer. I just cared to mention it.

Premise: I don't know if the new league content is accessible to standard league after the league ends. If not, this should happen so those who play in standard league can access new content as well.

Now, the big topic: the inflation in the standard league.

The 1st idea is to have fixed value per item based on its modifiers. This system takes into account the type of modifier, its tier, the numbers rolled and puts out a value that can be equaled with currencies.

Orb of Transmutation or Orb of Augmentation are 1 unit of value. Every other currency has its value. Every item has its value based on its modifiers etc. and can be matched with currencies. The owner can choose what currency he wants and put them for sale. The buyer pays the requested currency.

Ex: item value 10, owner chose to have 10 orbs of augmentation, or 5 orbs of augmentation and 5 orbs of transmutation, or 1 lesser jeweller's orb.
There is also room for negotiation, which can be great.

This solves the problem where the cost of items is too expensive.

The 2nd idea is to have a subtraction of currency of some sort. Events that require you to spend currency. Volunteer resets.
The best for me is having something to build and you choose from a pool of elements. Let's say there are 10 elements and you can choose 4. With those 4 you have a build and use it for some content: every time you want a new build or change what you have, pay currency.

One thing can be: reset the whole tree and ascendancy, and be able to have more builds associated with the same character. It's a reset, but also you keep what you had and now you accumulate builds of your favorite character!
Leveling can happen in events like mapping from level 1 or anything else.

All this should serve a purpose: have a reason to spend resources other than trading.

What do you think? I would like to read strangers' thoughts on this.

Players that actually engage with Standard aren't as concerned with the games 'economy' like their league-exclusive counterparts.

The GGG devs have stated in interviews that their priority isn't long-term player retention, but rather league population - primarily within the first 2 week window of a league's launch.

Judging from that, one can reasonably assume any design choices they make will be in the interests of promoting league and disincentizing Standard play. They view the two modes as a Zero-Sum Game.
