Passive points book + hooded one bug

I had recently completed a quest in act 2 that awarded me a 2 point passive book. I used the book and gained the 2 passive points. I then went to the hooded one on the ardura caravan where I was going to respec 4 points off my quarterstaff node. And use 6 points in total towards more defensive nodes like energy shield and evasion and a power charge node. I ended up with only 4 points to use and my passive book is gone along with it's points.
