Awful temple design consistency

I just don't understand the driving philosophy or plan behind whomever at GGG is making decisions about the temple. First it's awful (or just undiscoverd), then it gets massively overtuned, then it gets nerfed into oblivion for everyone except the elite streamers who already have established temples. Then they undo the damage inflicted and revert back to what it was in the beginning save the Holten exploit.

Then when just about everyone has quit the league and a few stragglers have finally finished their temple they decide to obliterate the drop rate of the only medallion that has any value whatsoever for an established temple, and they do it in a way so as to not alert the player base. By diluting the pool of medallions that can drop from spymasters they effectively killed every temple in the game. At some point they will all be gone since the drop rate of locking medallions is unsustainable. And what's with the stupid medallion names nobody can pronounce? F that. Locking medallion. Upgrade medallion. Reroll medallion...

Meanwhile the temple is bugged as hell. Where is the fix for random DCs? What about the temple just closing uncommanded? How about when you die, and dc you can't get back in? What about crazy randoms who prey on temple owners by running ahead and looting at will and there's not a damned thing the temple owner can do about it? No, those take actual talent and dedication to properly fix. I guess just completely erasing every temple in existence basically fixes all the other problems. Well played GGG.
