Feedback about off-screen enemy abilities and readability

I want to share some feedback about enemy behavior in PoE 2, mainly in the Campaign.

One thing that feels off is how often enemies use strong abilities from outside the camera.
There are situations where a mob is already mid-leap or mid-charge before it even appears on screen, or projectiles/spells come from off-screen with no real warning.
When that happens, deaths don’t feel like a mistake I made, but more like something I couldn’t reasonably react to.

In an isometric ARPG, what the player can see is basically what they can play around.
If dangerous actions start outside that space, it becomes very hard to read what’s going on or learn from it.
This is especially noticeable early on, where the player has very limited tools (mostly just dodge roll), while enemies can already jump, blink, rush you, or attack from far away.

Another related issue is enemies that become untargetable or invulnerable during certain animations (waking up, rising from the ground, activating, charging a spell, etc.).
During these moments you’re forced to just wait, while the enemy is effectively preparing an attack. This can work for bosses or special encounters, but during regular campaign gameplay it often breaks the flow and feels a bit unfair.

To be clear, this isn’t about wanting the game to be easier.
It’s more about consistency and readability.

When you die, it should be clear what happened and what you could have done differently.
Off-screen attacks and invulnerable “cinematic” moments make that much harder.

I think the campaign would feel better if:

1)Highly dangerous abilities were mostly triggered on-screen

2)Off-screen actions had clearer audio/visual warnings or more delay

3)Invulnerability phases on normal enemies were shorter or more clearly communicated

PoE 2 has great combat direction overall, but these situations sometimes undermine that by taking control away from the player.
