|
Dear fellow exiles and GGG,
As promised, here comes my wishlist + suggestions for 0.5 and moving forward. Feel free to discuss and comment on them below. disclaimer: Yes, I know some of the ideas are broken - but we need more stuff like this in the game, in my opinion. I accidentally submitted this post before finishing it - I will add more to it later. I have structuered this post into the following sections: 1. Skill and support gems 2. Passive tree 3. Endgame 4. Trade 5. Itemization 6. SSF Skill and support gems In this section I will come with a few ideas for a couple of gems I think would be really cool to add into the game. I've tried my best to come up with names that fits the names of the current lineage games. 1. Lineage gems Dannig's Contrivance Supports grenade skills, causing them to explode on impact. Grenade skills explode on impact. Supported skills gain 20 % of damage as extra physical damage. Maligaro's Iteration Supports skills which create fissures in the ground, causing additional fissures to branch back toward the initial fissures created, overlapping their paths. Supported skills create 2 additional fissures. Supported skills has 30 % less area of effect. Fissures from supported skills overlap. Kadavrus' Conjuration Supports skills which create minions, causing those minions to have increased spirit reservation efficiency at the cost of damage. Minions from supported skills have 150 % increased reservation efficiency. Minions deal 25 % less damage. Xixic's Emblem Supports Offering skills. Supported Offering skills now count as a corpse for their duration. Supported Offering skills has increased duration. Supported skills has 50 % increased duration. Supported skills count as a corpse. *note: "consuming" corpses from the offering does not destroy the offering. Malachai's Hecatomb Supports skills which create minions, causing them to be considered low life and explode when reduced to low life. Minions from supported skills explode when reduced to low life, dealing 80 % of their maximum life as chaos damage to surrounding enemies. Minions from supported skills are considered low life. Deshret's Phylactery Supports skills that causes damaging hits. Supported skills gain 40 % of damage as either Chaos or Physical at random on hit at the cost of speed. Supported skills gain 40 % of damage as either Chaos or Physical. Supported skills have 15 % less attack speed. Supported skills have 15 % less cast speed. Balbala's Inhibition Supports curse skills. Supported curse skills create areas which curse enemies as long as they are within them. Supported skills inflict escalating magnitudes of curses as long as enemies are within them, up to 70 % more magnitude. Supported skills have increased duration. Supported skills create cursed ground. Supported skills have 10 % more magnitude per second, up to 80 %. Supported skills have 100 increased duration. Lachlann's Despair Supports attack skills that causes damaging hits. Supported skills echo once. Skills echo once. Madox's Patience Supports skill that causes damaging hits. Culling an enemy with supported skills grants 20 % more rarity 30 seconds. Azmadi's Vexation Supports attack skills that causes damaging hits, causing them to gain more attack speed per current rage. Supported skills gain 1 % more attack speed per 1 rage. Ketzuli's Coffer Supports skills that benefit from consuming heat. Supported skills gain 60 % of damage af fire damage when consuming heat. Ignaduk's Accretion Supports skills that build up heat, causing them to build up more maximum heat and infuses all your attacks with fire damage for 6 seconds, upon reaching maximum heat. Maximum heat 100. Attacks gain 1 % of damage as fire damage per 1 heat when reaching maximum heat. Asinia's Helix Supports projectile skills that causes damaging hits, causing them to spiral around the player when used. Supported skills spiral. 1a. Skill gems Apart from new exciting skill gems based on the coming weapons types (swords, axes, daggers etc.) there are some skills from PoE 1 I would like to see implemented. These include: Absolution, Brand skills, Spectral throw and Mine and trap skills. I would love to see more monsters in the spectre pool too. The Primal Spirit would be particularly cool to add! Moreover, here are some new ideas for existing weapon types and categories: Bola Grenade Fire a grenade that explodes into a net that pins and bleeds enemies hit on impact. Explodes on impact. Consumes 20 heat if possible to instead ignite on hit and gain 20 % of damage as fire damage. Net pin duration is 8 seconds. Net radius is 5 metres. Permafrost Grenade Fire an icy grenade that explodes into many ice fragments. These fragments can merge. Deals more damage to frozen enemies. Explosion: Detonation time is 3 seconds. Converts 80 % of physical damage to cold damage. Fragments: Explodes into 20 fragments. Converts 30 % of physical damage to cold damage. 20 % more damage to frozen enemies. Slug Shot Fire a short ranged single heavy round that has very high damage, more critical chance and pierces all enemies, but has significantly reduced attack speed. Pierces all targets. 30 % more critical chance. Consumes 20 heat if possible to gain 50 % of damage as fire damage. 35 % less attack speed. Overpressurized Chamber Causes your next bolt to explode on hit, temporarily increasing reload time. Summon Flesh Golem Summons a huge golem of flesh and bone that consumes your other minions to gain more damage and slam enemies when commanded. Commanding the golem makes it lose the damage gained until new minions are consumed. Command skill: Unholy slam Summon Skeletal Scribe Summons a skeletal scribe that is able to store damage dealt over time and can unleash the damage stored when commanded. Command skill: Unleash Summon Skeletal Assasins Summons skeletal assasins that attack in melee and can throw daggers when commanded. Command skill: Throwing daggers I haven't played a lot with Quarterstaves or Bow skills, so maybe someone else in the forum has some cool ideas for those? 1b. Support gems Lingering Spirits Supports minion skills. Killed minions leave behind a small pile of volatile bones that acts as hazardous areas. Deals 35 % of maximum life of minions. Heavy Grip Supports melee skills. More area of effect and stun build up at the cost of speed. Electric Intensification Support spells. Repeated lightning hits with stores damage and deals a powerful discharge when reaching maximum. 1c. Persistent buffs Herald of Steel Stunning enemies causes them to explode with many fragments. These fragments can merge and have increased stun build up. Pulverizing Oath A persistent buff that causes aftershocks from your slam skills to pull in enemies towards the center of the aftershock and apply a stacking debuff on enemies hit. You deal 10 % more attack damage per debuff on enemies. Maximum 5 stacks. Herald of Ruin Cursed enemies explode on death, spreading their curses to surrounding enemies. I would like to see some fire quarterstaff skill and more chaos skills (monk only has hand of chipotle right now)
For spells i would also like more chaos spells and more ways to get infusions and charges For crossbow i was thinking about a nuke grenade, a single massive grenade (that cant gain increased projectiles) with a massive explosion and that leaves poison gas after it And for warrior maybe some more elemental attacks that are not fire (cold, lightning and even a chaos slam) |
