Weird Azmeri Spirit bug

I encountered a weird bug at the start of a T15(6 mods) desert map(the one with the long hall of bodies at the beginning and gate.

I found either a purple or pink spirit at the start. It very quickly found a rare and took it over. Every single white mob and the rare it touched had literally every Azmeri spirit buff listed underneath it. This happened in one of the Abyss clusters. The rare itself keep resurrecting every time I killed it, but it took a new form each time(going down the list of spirit forms).

The rare and every white mob was a desperate fight for my life(never had an issue with my build on T15 maps). Solo white mobs were nearly one shooting me.
