The Last Lament and Eternal Life not working.

Today I sadly found out that the interaction between the pair are bugged to the point the I even I can't regen the last point of mana in the total pool, use my life instead of mana, and use 300 life to keep shooting without my life pool changing.

Now I did do my build a bit different than the one showed on the official POE 2 website. However the real moving parts of the main base of the build. Which is the Eternal Life and The Last Lament crossbow. As life can't change while on energy shield, and the Last Lament is meant to allow me to keep shooting for the cost of 300 life per use.

As a declaimer I did add some other uniques to my build. Which are, Atziri's Disdain Gold Circlet, Original Sin Amethyst Ring, and The Black Doubt Hexer's Robe. As the build I was going for was a bypass damage reduction build for the defense part of this while also having the ring to change glav shards and requiem do chaos damage instead of element. And I took only chaos nodes, crit nodes, and energy shield nodes.

As I was leveling through the Acts. The defense part of the build part of the build was going great, but when I hit level 77 to use the crossbow, it reloaded after the last shot instead of continuing the shots. So I went to work to see if was user error, and I had nothing but the weapon and skill points to equip the weapon, and that's when I realize it's the interaction DOES NOT work between the Ascendency node and the weapon.

I don't know if it's bugged or intended, but I just want to play my own version of the build.

So I don't get while on the official POE 2 website video of the build they said, "However this node Eternal Life makes it so our life doesn't change when we have some energy shield". (https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3854153)
