too much caster stats?

hello, i'm not sure if "mages" (characters who cast spells) have enough their stats in passive tree , but on items it looks too much for them , for example on amulet in prefix there is no any other attack boost except spell damage, and in suffixes there are +3 to spell/melee/proj , BUT there is another "mage" stat - cast speed. no attack speed or something for other classes... cast speed only (crit chance and bonus are useful for ALL classes)

what's the point? are mages so poor in damage? - ofc it is sarcasm , because any mage can easily oneshot everything... but not all other classes can do the same

The game is unbalanced, and having 3 people only to balance an entire game that runs over 14 years is a joke.

Once all characters are in the game and all acts they should raise this team to 20 people atleast and do a proper balance.

actually 1 person is quite enough, if that person PLAYS the game as gamer. or such person could at least get some info from those u2ubers, as they make tons of videos and everything is clear as day ... who is op, who is nerfed. or just a single look on characters rating tell what's going on with balance... no need to be so smart if there is 2-3 classes which are preferred by 90% of players

ggg just too lazy to actually play their game and dive so deep to understand every aspect, at least it looks so. or they just dont care what we want to play in, just " eat what we give you"

if every dev would play own game... games never became another one casino with only 2-3 classes playable
They need it because they are too dependent on the +skills, while fighter classes just need IPD and boom! You win!
HC SSF. What else? Ruthless when?

Actually from my experience, mages are pretty crappy in damage. BUT after they have invested a ton in gear, they have nightmare scaling. I actually think the dex based classes have an easier time getting to mid level screen clears.

That being said, loot is bad. There are a ton a junk affixes that nobody wants.

it cant be done with 1 person. You are talking about one big tree and usable skill/support gems on all characters with multiple ascensions.
The possibilities here are a lot to be balanced by even 3 persons.

Each person should capture a category or a class and fine-tune over the entire tree by trying all different combinations. Once the character is in a good shape then it can be reviewed with the other person's work and see where it can align untill they find the precise change.

This is the only way to balance the game.

As a project manager I understand what they are doing as they are letting players experince and create builds and generete more knowledge in the guides . Once they have all the informations they need it will be easier to track down builds posibilties that are broken . On the other hand the posibilties that are not created by the players will definetly be weaker unless something pop out caused by unexpected item or a change that come with future leagues.

So this is their plan, I assume. We just have to wait untill we get the last characters and acts before we see a good balance. On the other hand a build that would cross levels of power will get nerfed by this 3 people who are working on balance.

So in a few word we as players not only paid for EA but also working a second job as testers to generate knowledge for them.

told that many times.. we are paying for work on them ....
i'm not agree with you. it is quite easy to track 2-3 most popular classes and check what to nerf there to make these classes not so op.
first time you dont need to dive too deep in passive tree etc, just take popular builds and check what to change.
but closer to release yes. there should be hard work with all passives and support gems etc, but same - at first check top played characters and builds, mostly that will be enough to make at least 50% for balance
different items hold different "identities"

amulets lean more spell-based
gloves lean more attack.
Don't get lost by being so focused on the target that you forget to enjoy your surroundings.
Do the Devs play the game and show their characters and stream?
I think the modifiers on staves were over buffed this league for sure.

And the tiers you have access to in progression is kind of insane.
Mash the clean
