Hybrid Ascendancies in PoE2

Something loosely inspired by Grim Dawn, where instead of fully committing to a single ascendancy, you could split your investment—say 4 points in one ascendancy and 4 in another. Not a full mix-and-match of everything, but a deliberate, capped hybrid choice.

I think a hybrid type system could open up some really interesting build identity and theorycrafting. I understand the balance concerns, but even as a limited or opt-in system, it feels like it could add a lot of depth and replayability.
