[Concept] Harvest as a Full Map Experience
|
harvest can now spawn as any map tile set, every monster is a Harvest beast (Primal, Vivid, or Wild). No traditional monsters or other league mechanics spawn.
Juice System: Instead of instant "click-to-collect" Lifeforce, every kill contributes to a central "Essence Siphon" bar at the top of your screen. The bar's dominant color determines the type of Lifeforce the map boss will primarily drop. Each color of beast adds to its corresponding segment of the bar (Primal=Blue, Vivid=Purple, Wild=Yellow). When any color segment passes 70%, that color starts mutating the map: Wild (Yellow): monsters gain frenzy-style speed + chain attacks Primal (Blue): monsters gain spell echoes, ground effects Vivid (Purple): monsters gain regen, revives, DEF Push past 90% and the boss inherits an Ascended Modifier tied to that color. Visual Feedback: The map's lighting should shift dynamically. If you're heavy on Wild (Yellow), the map should look like a sun-scorched desert; Primal (Blue) should make it feel like an underwater grotto. no items drop you just kill monster contribute lifeforce to the map boss and your drops are stored there now we can focus on combat mechanics and visuals Boss: The final boss could be any Sacred Grove enchanted map boss. Upon defeat, it shatters, releasing all stored Lifeforce in a massive shower based on your fill bar's composition. map boss could also be granted more base modifier depending on what color its juiced with Players could "target farm" by focusing on killing one color of beast, turning the map into a tactical color-balancing game. The giga Map: "The Farmstead" (Farmville Tribute) Core Gimmick: A perfectly square, grid-based map. Monsters are cute but aggressive livestock Since this is a Farmville tribute, we need to lean into the Grid System and the Livestock absurdity. The "Tilled Soil" Mechanic: Every square of the grid you "clear" (kill all monsters in) turns from brown dirt to golden wheat. The Harvest Combo: Clearing a 3x3 square of the grid instantly spawns a "Rodeo Mini-Boss" (e.g., an Albino Rhoa on steroids). The Livestock Gimmick: * Explosive Chickens: They don't do much damage, but they have a massive knockback that pushes you into... The Thresher Cows: High-damage melee units that "mow" anything in their path. Last bumped on Jan 30, 2026, 10:47:08 AM
