Clicking a Bismuth Ore Deposit makes the game constantly stay at 30 fps
![]() Game runs at 60 fps everywhere else, but if I click a bismuth in a map(specifically this seems to happen in outdoor maps, indoors its fine and actually lights up some darker cave maps) the fps seems to lock itself to 30. My maximum foreground and background fps are set to 60 in settings, fps target for dynamic resolution is set to 60, all settings lowest possible. This bug just seems to happen in outdoor maps, worse in certain ones like Burial Chambers. I literally drop down from 60 fps to 10-20 there after clicking Bismuth. Something is seriously wrong with this particle effect, since everything else in this game runs just fine on my PC. Specs: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-9400F CPU @ 2.90GHz 2.90 GHz 16 GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (4 GB VRAM) Game installed on 238 GB SSD ADATA SU800NS38, shader cache for Nvidia and PoE is also located in same SSD. Don't know why this bug happens, but all you need to do to reproduce it is click a Bismuth deposit in an open outdoors map. Last bumped on Jan 29, 2026, 1:02:40 PM
