Rewards from extremely difficult content feel disproportionate to the effort
|
After extensive testing while farming heavily invested maps (including multiple layers of Delirium, high-quantity and high-rarity modifiers, Titanic Scarabs, and other reward-boosting mechanics), the resulting loot frequently appears to be significantly lower than expected
In many cases, despite clearing extremely difficult encounters — including map bosses with hundreds of millions of HP — no Divine Orbs or comparable high-tier currency are obtained In contrast, very low-investment content such as unmodified white maps can occasionally yield high-value currency (for example, Divine Orbs dropping from destructible objects like barrels). While random drops are expected, the current behavior suggests that reward scaling for difficulty and investment may not be functioning as intended Expected behavior: High-risk, high-investment, and high-difficulty content should provide proportionally higher average rewards compared to trivial content Observed behavior: Heavily juiced, high-difficulty maps often provide lower or similar rewards compared to low-effort, low-investment gameplay Conclusion: This creates a strong impression that reward scaling for difficult content is either inconsistent or not properly implemented. It discourages players from engaging with complex endgame systems that require significant investment, planning, and powerful builds We believe this aspect of the reward system may require review or further testing Last edited by furiousxomyak#0073 on Jan 29, 2026, 2:38:25 AM Last bumped on Jan 29, 2026, 2:26:46 AM
