Phrecia TLDR survival guide, read before crying

1) Maps are harder, as we get bonus mods to each area this time. Red maps requiring corrupted rare could be especially painful if they roll 8 mod + whatever many bonus ones. Remember that a regular rare corrupted map (not 8-modder) also counts for atlas objective. You don't get points, but you do unlock idol slots by completing maps.
2) Avoid idols with einhar or jun. Mobs spawned by those missions use uncommon damage types which are rippy as hell in early endgame progression 3) Map sustain is bad early. You get hardly any Kirac missions today without specing into them, and without atlas tree - well, you can't spec into them. Be prepared to buy some maps during progression. 4) Keepers is the parent league, use provisioning gift to craft yourself some good starter gear. 6L is laughably easy to obtain, solid 3xT1 items as well. This league has incredibly easy access to very high defences on armor. 5) Just because you see a league mechanic - doesn't mean you have to do it. With random self-found idols it's easy to fill your maps to the brim with stuff, like having harvest, expedition, blight, ritual and legion ALL in one map. But without support from idols OTHER than just chance - it's not worth doing them. The most juice comes from 2x2 idols, this is where you find the most impactful modifiers. 6) get a boost for maven and uelder, those two block access to a very important 2x2 idol slot. You cannot 'settle' on 2 voidstone this time. 7) Hide orb of unmaking on the filter :) And hf & hope they extend it until 3.28 launch cos 3 weeks is kinda short for this much customization possible :) Last bumped on Jan 30, 2026, 11:38:44 AM

Yeah really hope they just extend it until just before 3.28 is announced or something.
And yep corrupted bricked up 8-mod red maps will be scary especially with the bosses enraging. One thing I strongly recommend people do is be very careful which maps you Maven for the quest. I avoid mavening stuff like Burial Chambers at all costs. Its better to wait to get your 2 quest voidstones and let other upgraded t14+ maps start dropping, then maven those for the final 10-boss quest than doing it to the natural t14-16 maps, because usually the natural maps are bad with rippy bosses. And yeah 100% buy voidstone carries for maven and uber elder, that will save you sooo much time and then you get to sell your fragments/guardian maps on asynch after you're done unlocking all your fave map slots. Another cool thing is that you can ignore most of the special maven boss invitations, the only one you need to do I think is The Feared if you want to unlock all your favorite map slots. The rest of the special maven invitations you don't have to do, since they would normally give skill points but we have no atlas tree in this event. |

why the heck did you put this in feedback and not "help" section.....
Unasked advice is usually VERY poorly received btw. This whole thing comes off as rather condescending to those around who.....can read. It also unnecessarily scares the very people you think you are helping. Rather inconsiderate BEFORE an event. "the path to hell is paved with good intentions": if people wanted advice, they would ask for it in the help section and your tips would be most welcome to them. Main thing I was thinking about in terms of defense in this version of phrecia was how important CI will be given that one of the random extra mods is pretty likely to be phys as chaos if that is a possible mod to roll. Like 1 out of 4 of your maps are going to have monsters doing 20-30% of their phys as chaos imo.
