Residual 'pin/marker' remains after completing the 'Scourge of the Skies' Quest to rescue Matiki

When returning to the area to find a Map Piece, Shrike Island, the pin/marker still remains even after completing the 'Scourge of the Skies' objective. This is something minor I came across and noticed and I wanted to post the bug here.
 When game developers ignore the criticism that would improve their game, the game fails. Just because a game receives a great amount of praise vs. only a small amount of criticism does not mean to call it a day and make a foolish misplaced assumption that it is perfect.
