Big Issue With Savage Fury Activating

I was using Shred on R2 and Savage Fury on alt R2 but I noticed when I held Shred and tapped L1 to call in Savage Fury, that the SF animation would play for a frame and I'd be charged for calling in the skill but I wouldnt have the skill timer counting down or the damage buff, indicating I wasn't actually activating the skill even though I'd been charged for it and seen the animation begin.

It appears cancelling the buffs animation too soon somehow cancels SF's buff applying.

I think this is an issue with being able to cancel skill animations. Because it's happened when I roll cancel the animation for Lunar Blessing sometimes too. The skill will appear to activate, I'll be charged for it, but the buff won't apply. Being able to cancel the start up of player buffs shouldn't charge the player for the buff in activation cost and cooldown while not applying the buff.


Another note on Savage Fury activation:

Sometimes if you're attacking when you call in SF, SF will activate and the timer will begin ok but you're left with 5% of SF's built up activation cost instead of 0%. SF can't build activation cost while it's active so this should always reset to 0%. This leads to situations where SF can be activated again during it's inital duration then instantly stop due to a 5% call in getting you no skill time. Allowing the player to accidentally cancel their own skill if they call in SF too early during SF when 5% is remaing instead of 0%.
