Divine Orb acquisition feels overly restrictive in endgame and incentivizes RMT
|
Hi PoE2 Team,
I’m enjoying the game a lot overall — combat, progression, and endgame flow feel great. One issue that’s starting to undermine the experience for me is how convoluted and scarce Divine Orb acquisition feels. I’ve spent 10+ hours in endgame (playing in chunks as time allows) and have seen only one Divine Orb drop. At the same time, many of the best trade offers I’m seeing start around ~1000 Divines. The gap between “realistic self-found income” and “market pricing” feels so extreme that it pushes players toward third-party Divine purchases (RMT) just to participate in top-end trading. That’s a bad incentive loop and honestly feels absurd when the game itself is otherwise in a good place. I’m not asking for free loot — just a more reasonable, transparent path to Divines that matches endgame time investment, so progression and trading don’t implicitly encourage RMT. Thanks for your work, and I hope you’ll consider adjusting the Divine economy or acquisition pathways. Edited: On third-party sites I’m seeing pricing around ~$1 for ~55 Divines. When dozens of Divines are that cheap externally while top-end trade listings sit at ~1000+ Divines, it makes RMT feel like the most rational way to bridge the gap — which is exactly the incentive problem I’m pointing out. if you want raw divines you need the temple and a rarity based character.
If you didnt manage to setup your temple then you dont have to farm raw divines, all you need to do if farm abyss, ritual, logbooks, anomaly maps and citadels and exchange everything valuable you get. You wont believe how many divines you can get per map farming these things. Should be on feedback btw, there's no bug here. Last edited by IILU81II#8410 on Jan 22, 2026, 3:53:29 AM
