Mirage archer + Riven Armour bug? (not a bug)

I am using High velocity rounds to apply riven armour debuff on enemies.
Tried using mirage archer to attack enemies with Riven Amour Debuff.
Doesnt work.

Edit; I realised i was wrong.
Riven armour says only the "inflicter" can activate the debuff.

whhat skills are you using on archer?
Keep in mind it's only 5% of the hit that applies the debuff

Im running a build with riven armour + fragmentation rounds and im in endgame and it works wonders i just realised when i read that only the "Inflicter" in riven armour description can activate the debuff on the enemy.
No no mirage archer, totem, or other allies can activate the riven debuff.
