So I've been trying to play both PoE 1 and 2 for awhile now and in inviting my partner in to play, it's notable that they are color blind. One of the biggest victories around this game has to do with what is being seen. It's a beautiful game. The graphics and the content are amazing. However, the most important visual effects on screen being on-death effects are amongst the first that need a reprioritization.
So I have a small list of requests for GGG - Make On Death Effects the last thing to be removed off the Dynamic Culling queue. - Grant accessibility options and better contrast (The passive tree and weapon sets one versus non weapon set points) for one. (This is as simple as granting chroma key options, and greater contrast by labeling the lines between notables as "P" for passive "1" for set one, and "2" for set two, or just choosing not... the most pale peach next to your baseline yellow) - And offering a toggle for enemy contrast outlines the exact same as when someone or something is behind a wall. Hiding enemies and ground effects because of bad visuals is bad game design for an enemy npcharacter that has zero stealth mechanics otherwise. Allow the outline of the character to be set to white and the outline specifically to be pushed up to the top layer so it's always visible amongst other things, let it be red when targeted or whatever other color. Please boost this so it's seen by GGG because even if Johnathan isn't color blind, some people who want to play this game are and have a worse time because of bad accessibility.
