POE 2 ver. 0.4 - Bug: Cannot socket Support Gem into Purity of Lightning

Hello Path of Exile 2 Support Team,

I’d like to report a bug with support gem socketing.

When I try to socket a Support Gem into Purity of Lightning, the game prevents it and shows the warning:
“Warning: This support can’t be socketed into this skill” (shown in the red box in my screenshot).

In the blue box you can see the Support Gem I’m trying to use (it appears as a valid/available support option in the list), but it still cannot be placed into Purity of Lightning.

In the green box you can see my current resources (Spirit) that should be used for the reservation (I have Spirit available, so it doesn’t seem like a resource issue).

Steps I’m taking:

Open Skills panel

Select Purity of Lightning

Attempt to socket the Support Gem shown in the blue box

Receive the warning and the gem cannot be socketed

I’ve attached the screenshot with the red/blue/green boxes for reference.

Yep same here - seem to meet all requirements including spirit (although historically they have been free in purity sceptres) but giving me the same message.

Well actually I figured mine out - I somehow lost the strength requirement to wear it. I still did have it equipped, and the aura was working, but once I met the strength requirement, I could equip the support gems.
