Ya so it doesn't matter how many times I try, simulacrums get more ridiculous each time, Previous seasons I was never able to get delirium points, To get your first 2 required actually completing that trash content, I wasn't even able to do it with a tanky ass titan build season 2-3, the moment you die mid wave it is game over, being swarmed on respawn/body blocked, can't blink or roll past? 11/10 content and totally loved wasting my time
Now they give you the first 2 points to each pinnacle tree for free?

This doesn't solve the issue of most players not being able to progress pinnacle atlas tree's, it just gives them a free pass
+ Infinite revives on first attempt to "introduce players to the mechanics"

Make it a challenge that feels good when you finally overcome it, Dying 20 times to one wave just to finally kill the horde, thats not fun, I can just stand there, and I'll get my next 2 points.....
Getting final 4 points is what actually takes skill and shows the player the flaws in their play style patterns and build
How about fix this trash pinnacle content, make the challenge in and of itself feel good, not giving majority of players the mindset of Do this once get my points and never again... these should be farmable, these should be enjoyable, sadly only enjoyable by maybe 5%?

Have 6 tiers, 6 being the hardest and best drops, tier 1 being alot easier and do-able for the average player, while scaling revive portals with tiers
1 = 50, 6 = 300, tier 1 = 6 revives, tier 6 = 0 revives!!!
Then we can all be happy, do what suits our build untill we get better gear/more passives or improve our skills in general, could even do 2 atlas points every 2 tiers to total 8 atlas points, while still giving players 2 points starting off
In its current state, most pinnacle content just isn't fun, isn't enjoyable, I want to enjoy the things in this game, have fun while I'm doing them while still being challenged, this challenge shouldn't be a constant feeling of frustration with very little to no rewarding outcome / good feeling of overcoming that challenge, season 5 better spice this shit up, meet in the middle for casuals while still having things that appeal to the hardcore playerbase

if your build suxs, if you have lousy dps and lousy defence, if your gear is no good, if you have poor understanding of the game mechanics, if you do not put in enough time to do research and learn the game, then you will end up failing a lot in the game and you will not enjoy playing the game.

if your build suxs, if you have lousy dps and lousy defence, if your gear is no good, if you have poor understanding of the game mechanics, if you do not put in enough time to do research and learn the game, then you will end up failing a lot in the game and you will not enjoy playing the game.
Bro, this game legit has severe balancing issues, when you die in a simulacrum mid wave, its game over, this isnt giving players shit to learn just repeated death, fuck outta here with skill issue not enough time
The average player does not have the time to learn every mechanic of this game in a season, only a fraction of what this game offers, and when that fraction is nothing but death and frustration, they aren't returning, so yep skill issue

TBH my issue with Simulacrum is two fold. I personally find it too easy (it's way easier than PoE1 Simulacrum) and it doesn't give xp.
I used to just level to 98 in simulacrum on PoE1, but here with how ridiculously long it takes to level any time spent doing anything that doesn't reward xp feels bad.
I actually don't know what happens if you fail a PoE2 simulacrum lol.
I've only ran it with two builds mind you, but one could basically just stand there afk for the first 13 waves (mmrour stacked physical thorns warrior with insta leach), and the other kinda just killed everything instantly (lighting spear zon.)
The warrior did almost die one run due to an armour break mod, but I just had to stop watching youtube lol.
