Heavy stun on sprint needs to be fixed.

I’ve recently started to play more hardcore and the issue that gets me killed the most isn’t bosses, mobs, hazardous environments, or debuffs. It’s heavy stun hitting me when I roll and enter sprint. I’m not trying to sprint, but the threshold to initiate sprint from a roll is to quick and cause serious issue when evading. I play with under buttons on a controller and my dodge is allocated to X on a ps5 controller. I play every game with the same button mapping. X is always my dodge button for every game. It’s bad enough that loot is also allocated to x but with loot filters it’s manageable. However, heavy stun from a roll into sprint is very unmanageable. And it causes a very severe issue for me, especially in hard core.
So can you either nerf the heavy stun time, remove heavy stun from sprint collision, increase threshold from roll to sprint like by 2 second to 3 seconds, give us an option to shut sprint off altogether, or allocate sprint to its own button and take it off of roll. I think threshold is best as it’s still useable if held but if a roll initiates then there’s a 2 to 3 second pause before you sprint. I understand the penalty for using sprint and that’s fine. But getting hard stunned out of evasion maneuvering is really game breaking. I’ve already lost 3 character to this bad mechanic and it makes me want to just uninstall and keep it moving. It’s crucial for melee characters to be able to evade roll without risking heavy stun. Melee is already in danger from being that close to mobs and bosses, convolution of effects going off and splash damage make it hard to navigate and stay alive. Roll is quintessential to the melee role and if rolling can result in a heavy stun from a button held for .5 of a second it’s just bad mechanics. I hope this is seen and given consideration. Game is moving in the right direction and is gonna be amazing if small adjustments are made. Thx, best regards Last bumped on Jan 20, 2026, 12:12:39 PM
