Sustainability and late stages of a League.

Every league in both games there is a trend.
(player numbers) Explode at league start. peaks in the first two weeks. Massive decline after 30 days. i wanna put ideas how staying in a league for longer could be made more fun. and less taxing for people who already play the whole league start to end. i been watching this terraria mod , calamity . in that mod there is a mechanic where in endgame instead of re-grinding a potion over and over you can craft X amount of them(30 i think) put them in place and have the buff up forever. i think something like that can be applied to some mechanics and items in PoE. Something like: After you reach lvl 90 or X hours played that league . or whatever the calculation would be . you can store or feed 60 Omens into something , and have the effect of the omen active permanently for the duration of the league. (select omens ofc , like Omen of Amelioration) .............................................................. Another one would be maybe after you loot a total of 1.2...5k of wisdom scrolls a button shows up in the bag to identify all items for free , for the rest of the league . ................................................................... maybe after the first 30 days of the league or 2 weeks . you can pick a weekly quest like kill a 100 bosses in tier 15 maps. Run 300 rooms of temple . stuff like that. and get a mystery box . one quest per week, peer account. ................................................................. i think long term goals like that and QOL that gets better the more you play. would be key to motivating more players to play each league for longer. there could be a 100 ideas like this. the whole point is giving people more goals besides farm X things for currency and items.
