"Recruit the Vaal" boss freeze bug

In the fight against Zelina and Zolin boss, I died right as one of the bosses died. When i respawned and approached the bosses, they did not react.

Nothing works to "refresh them". I tried reloading the area by using the checkpoints, exiting their room, logging out and back in again. Only starting a new instance resolves this problem.
