Temple destroyed for no reason

I was building a snake and killed the the architectct (did it many times before that), the difference this time that I placed 3 reward rooms instead of only the key room to the queen. My quess there was no place to place the architect (the snake was perfect, so that should not be the problem), or the rewards room was counted into the existing temple and somehow idk. The rewards rooms was connected to the architects room, but not to the snake.. Also it deleted around 20 rooms from the snake where it should not.
