Big map areas but should give you rewards if you are exploring the whole area

Big maps to me are an issue as I enjoy exploring the area. I know not everyone feels this way so I can understand that some want a smaller map.

The issue with the big map areas is there is no rewards for even exploring every part of the area. I always try to clear the whole area, and the map is completely explored. However, a lot of times you just get to a wall. There are no rewards and no treasure to be found. It is just a wall. It will be a dead end with nothing

The issue is that if you are going to make a big map and want players to explore, at least give us some loot/treasure box/something as a reward. Otherwise, the map is just big for no reason at all.

I got to a room full of enemies and then defeated them. That was it. There was no reward. It was interesting trying to escape being surrounded, but that was it.

Even some areas where the end is a wall it would be nice to have some reward or treasure to be found. What is the point of exploring the whole area of the map? Just so we can see enemies or run into an empty room/wall? That is something Grinding Gear Games needs to work on.

90% of the maps in this game(campaign, mapping, temple, etc) are too big. It contributed to the early complaints about movespeed which lead to the clutter of more waypoints and adding sprint, not to mention any passive tree points dealing with it.

They've shown that they have no intention of fixing core problems with the game by releasing dozens of hotfixes with bandaids that don't fix things. It is tiring.

My guess is they will never address the map size issue directly. Maps will stay huge and new maps will follow the same pattern. Should players be given the ability to choose what map environment they run I suspect GGG will just start nerfing the rare exceptions to this rule and upset players more. Because that isn't how they want you to play.

Thats especially true in the Campaign. There is no reason to explore an area. Most stuff you cna find is ultimately just useless.
Take the syword in Titans Grotto for example. It gives you one rune.

Thats the point of even doing that??? Its even a random rune and its a one time drop.

I really fucking dont understand why GGG is so unable to create proper rewards for doing stuff in the campaign or fix many campaign issues in general. Campaign feels so fucking bad.

Clearing the whole map BEFORE entering boss room should have 100% more item quantity and quality...

This is a good motivation for speed runners to stop ruining others game!
