Crash on first startup introduced in hotfix 0.4.0d restart

Ever since the restart patch hotfix 0.4.0d my game always crashes on startup and I get the error message 'Exception - Failed to init FMOD system. Error code 51'.
When I then launch the game a second time it launches and works and everything is alright. It only happens the first time I launch the game, and it -always- happens the first time I launch the game.
