Hysseg's Claw, Wolf Pack and Lord of the Wilds

I'm using Hysseg's Claw for cackling companions, I'm also using Lord of the Wilds so I can use a sceptre with the talisman. I'm trying to use Wolf Pack at the same time.

I appear to be getting a bug when I enter a new area or portal anywhere, it deactivates Wolf Pack and says "Cannot have more companions", and only allows me to have either cackling companions or Wolf Pack active. However, I can activate both at the same time by locking my weapon sets so Hysseg's Claw and the Sceptre are on both weapon sets, then activating cackling companions on weapon set 1, switching to weapon set 2, deactivating cacklilng companions, then it will allow me to activate Wolf Pack and cackling companions at the same time.

So I thought maybe it was just a stat thing on weapon set 1 limiting me, but I can switch back to weapon set 1 with both active, and it doesn't deactivate either, the only way they deactivate is entering a new area or portalling somewhere.

There's also a visual bug in my weapon set 2 where the off hand slot has translucent versions of both the talisman and the sceptre overlapping, wondering if that's something to do with it? I'd post the image but imgur is banned in the UK lmao
