Incomplete elemental weakness skill gem description - please fix

According to POE2db.tw, and verified by my usage in game, the elemental weakness curse cannot be applied to monsters above a certain level. That level threshold increases with the level of the skill gem. Once the gem reaches level 17 and beyond the threshold stops increasing having reached level 78. This means enemies above level 78 can never be cursed with this skill.

This is not clearly stated in the description of the skill gem itself. This is an oversight GGG needs to correct.

I just tried to implement an endgame build making use of the elemental weakness curse. This absence of labelling of this limitation in the skill in the game has undermined that build, wasting my time.

This is clearly an oversight by GGG on an important skill. Other gems state much more clearly potential limits to use their usage dependent on enemy level.

You need a lvl 18 gem, there are no more restriction to monster level with lvl 18 gems.

Thanks - just found that out with a bit more testing.

The level limitation should be reported more clearly on the skill gem, however. My level 17 was not reporting any limitation but it was clearly there in game.

Oh i see, never paid attention in the tooltip. It does specify it when you try to craft a gem lvl 17 but i dont know after.

It should defenitly be on the skill panel itself if it isnt.
