Frustrations with losing my trials of chaos

Dear GGG,

I would strongly like it if you guys would fix it so that if I disconnect or dc from the game due to your unstable servers that my Trial of Chaos would not be instantly forfeit. It is so mind numbingly frustrating as a player given the fact that I multiple times have gotten to 8/10 or 9/10 only to DC because of the servers and then lose all that time i spent on the run. I love running the trials of chaos and find it fun so it would be nice if you could fix this please.

I've been burned by this too.

yeah it sucks royally
Yes plz, i recently got the three fragments and went to fight the trialmaster, and before the fight could even start the game crashed. Respawned outside the trial and lost all the fragments...
My goodness fam that sucks so much especially with how much the fragments are selling for in this inflated economy more kf these kinds of issues need attention. If GGG is not in a position where they can fix the server stability at this time then they need to at least remove the painful penalties of a dc punishing their players.
Main problem for the Makers on this is probably how to implement so the re-run or continued Trial after crash can't be exploited.

Recently, I crashed in a very normal campaign fight (Witch lvl 54, Act IV). When I logged back into the game, I ended up just in the middle of the same fight, same position, same progress, frozen in action and very smoothly continued as soon as I clicked my mouse.

Meaning, they could do the same for Trials, technically ... but probably have no way to make it exploit-proof.

Agree with you somewhat on this but I think there is a simple fix to this. Most people if they just got randomly disconnected will immediately relogin especially if like in my case i was one round away from my rewards and the tablet from the round 10 boss. So you just simply make it where the player has 2-3 minutes to reconnect if not then the instance dies. Cause like you I agree while it sucks people shouldn't be able to just say unplug their router and permanently come back to do their trial that defeats the whole point of it being a gauntlet test style trial so I agree with you. However if its because the server just spiked and I dcd and I immediately within 1-2 minutes log back in we as players should not be punished because of a momentary network hiccup on GGG's side and if the belief is that we should be punished like this for this specific trial then the server stability has to be addressed immediately with no excuses. And given their development cadence I think immediately fixing all server issues for traffic is just no a realistic expectation to ask of them as much as I and all players do want it addressed I would rather the game complete and released and then GGG being able to fix all bugs and traffic issues than being distracted on that specifically for 6 month to a year depending on workforce and network engineers they have available there. So I think a simple solution is like I mentioned accept that right now servers can be unstable during high volume and for events like this give the player the benefit of the doubt if they immediately log back in. Prevents abuse but also makes honest players not feel like shit also to my knowledge the Trial of sekemhas does let you rejoin if within a certain time frame so if thats the case then there is no reason why the trial of chaos should not do the same.
Has this really not been fixed yet? I just lost my run because of a 1 second power outage.
