Lightning warp not working

every time i fignt a big boss lightning warp doesnt warp to the ball lightnings i shoot it randomly decides to try to warp on boss 3 times a second even though 20 ball lightnings are right under the cursor. this is absolutely breaking the consistency of the skill and gets me killed every 2-3 maps with nothing i could do to make it work ive tried always attack without moving on/off. the bigger the boss the worse it is
