Can't turn on my spirit gems

I can't turn on my spirit gems anymore (Wind Dancer lvl 14 103 dex and Herald of Thunder lvl 13 92 dex). I'm a ranger with 159 dex. I have a bow equipped. I'm at 100/100 spirit. I meet all the gear requirements for all my gear. I took all the support gems out. I don't have any of my armor socketed. My bow has 2x 18% physical damage sockets.

I had these on a couple hours ago but turned them off when shopping for new gear now I can't turn them on with different weapons or anything. I've logged out and on other characters and nothing works.


My huntress with a bow also cannot turn on spirit skills anymore.

My sorceress with a staff, my monk with a quarterstaff and fists can. My warrior with a 2h mace can turn on lvl 10 herald of blood but not lvl 14 herald of ash.

I don't understand why this happened.

there is a workaround for this I saw in reddit, you have to recheck the weapon sets in the spirit gem skill info details. for some reason both weapon sets checkboxes get unchecked.

OK It took me a minute to find weapon set boxes but I did and it works again, TY. For some reason all my other skills have both weapon sets clicked on by default even with no 2nd weapon. I don't think I need that with a bow.

But my herald of thunder now just has the weapon set 1 check box on and the weapon set 2 is red and I can't click on it with no weapon set 2 even equipped. So that is fine but its weird.

This issue to enable every time the buff skill through setting weapon slot, made me quit the game. Nor glitches,sparks, disconnects, lags etc...

200 moves every boss room is way to punishing...
