What is the point of all the abyss monster if only the "amanamu void" ones have all the loot?

As the title says, wth is this balance? when you juice abyss, if you're unlucky and get kurgal or ulaman monsters you get zilch loot, better off just leave the map seriously. All the omens are in the amanamu void garbage affix, what's the point of this? it's incredibly stupid. Is this intended?

Before any white knights herp around, i'm 100 running with 160 rarity in maps - the fact that if the monster has anything else than amanamu void on it drop shit is absolutely horrendous from a game design perspective.

It is completely dumb. Even then, you gotta pull them out from their black death fog or whatever it is, which is an annoying thing to have to do and completely at odds with the rest of the endgame they've designed.

There is a node on Atlas which spawns alumamananananan or whatever they're called more often, though.

I'm curious about this. Someone on the forum told me that to farm Omen of Light, I need to pull a monster outside of Am Void. That sounded like great advice, but when I checked the wiki, it said that Omen of Light drops from Kurgal's and Ulaman's monsters also, and you don't need to pull them out of a cloud. Which sounds easier. Are you saying this never happens in reality?

Edit: FWIW, I'm gotten a handful of high-end omens to drop, like Light and Abyssal Echoes. But I don't know how I did it.

Strictly for the augments and uniques, Ive hated abyss's since day one and they decided this season HEY LETS BUFF THE HELL OUTTA THIS SHIT FOR NO REASON OTHER THEN MAKING OUR PLAYERS SWEAT!!!!

It ain't worth, clearing 4-5 pits to see one chest with nothing good, the odd map where I see a preserved part, like fuck off BS mechanic

Inside the void drops liege and outside anything else, from dex/sin necromancy to echoes/ light.
I also get echoes and light from depths without the void.
Unless it's a bug the void thing actually works.
agree with OP +100000
Wait what? I never even knew that.

So not only do you need the Amanamu modifier but you also need to pull them out of it when killing them to have a chance at decent abyss rewards? And GGG didn't think that this would be something worth communicating to the player IN THE GAME?

Seriously, I am questioning more and more GGG's competency when it comes to game design. Miscommunication, poor communication or just straight up no communication of how game mechanics works is not a feature, GGG. It's a failure.
Apparently there are other mechanics that can cause non-Amanamu void rares to drop those omens, but so far they're unknown, at least to the public. At least that's what I've heard...

Do you put the words "GGG" and "communication" in the same sentence? Nice joke

Yup. GGG employee response to questions about Amanamus Void was that there are also other interactions that haven't been discovered yet.
