Disconnected from patching server before patching completed

After patch 0.4d got this problem when update: "Disconnected from patching server before patching completed".
Solved only when i run VPN.
Im from Russia, Moscow.

Try all things what recommended on the forum, like delete temp files, roaming files and open "Client" in administration mode. Nothing helps.

Then i delete PoE2 and install now from 0. With VPN is ON.
Hope, after installation i dont need VPN always ON to play PoE2.

Guess who to send rays of hatred to, turn on your VPN and try updating.

We are currently testing a temporary solution to the update server connection issue for players in Russia. If you receive the error "The connection to the update server was interrupted" while updating Path of Exile 2, try the following:

1) Right-click on "PathOfExile2.exe" -> select "Create Shortcut"
2) Right-click on the created shortcut "PathOfExile2.exe - Shortcut" -> select Properties
3) In the "Target"/"Shortcut" field, add --patching-server ru-patch.poecdn.com (how the line should look). Make sure there is a space before the parameter line.
4) Launch the game by clicking on this shortcut with the parameters.
