Item filters are bugged on console

I've played a lot this league, some may say too much.

As I've progressed the amount of pointless ground loot is getting more and more, so I tried to install a stricter Neversink filter. As soon as I follow the new filter I go back to game and my previous filter has completely vanished, and the new one is nowhere to be seen. Tried logging totally out, clearing cache, playing a different game. All that stuff. Nothing works.

Surely there is an easier way to implement loot filter on console? The current way it is done is absolutely idiotic.
